SSP showing 2 players on a page for each podcast

    Hi, we’re using SSP on our Community Radio site and it’s really working for us.

    We use the Avada theme, and all our podcasts have 2 players showing. It may be a custom layout issue but I wondered if you had any ideas where to look please?

    Hi there, thanks for the message. A few questions, and a suggestion for this:
    – Are you inserting the media file URL manually in the post anywhere? Know this is probably a silly question, but didn’t want to rule it out
    – Is there anything in your theme setup that would show an Excerpt at the top of your post? If you have both Excerpt and Full Content selected that might cause this. You can’t have “Above Content” AND “Below Content” selected at the same time, so that’s not it.
    – In your single.php file in your theme directory is there anything that would be displaying the media player? A few terms to look for there are:

    podcast_meta
    audio_shortcode
    podcast_player

    Let me know how those look and if looking through single.php gave some answers.
