Staging site

    Hi,

    If I want to push a staging site to my live site, but NOT to lose any of my Mailpoet 2 data already in the live site (that’s Mailpoet 2, not Mailpoet 3), which files should I exclude from the push, please?

    Hi Steve,

    Please note this is the MailPoet 3 forum and we don’t officially support MailPoet 2.

    But MailPoet data (version 2 or 3) is stored directly in the database. So if you are pushing files only, there’s nothing to exclude.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the reply.
    I’m pushing a complete site from staging to live, so newsletters and subscribers will be lost if I don’t exclude files, hence asking which ones.
    wpis_wysija_email_user_stat
    wpis_wysija_user
    wpis_wysija_user_list
    If I exclude those, will all my live site data (newsletters and subscribers) be kept, please?
    Sorry to ask in the Mailpoet 3 forum, but this is such a simple question, so I hope it’s okay.

    I have bought licenses for Mailpoet in the past, but I wasn’t keen on version 3 when you introduced it, so went with another plugin. Ignoring simple questions like the one above is not a great way of winning back customers!
