Staging site and production site

  • Hi there! I have a simple wordpress site and i want to create a staging site and add a new theme, add woocommerce and some plugins and then push it towards production and replacing the live site that i already have. How can i do this? Thank you,

    Create a subdomain for your staging site, if your account allows multiple websites. You could then migrate the original site to the new site. Make all the changes you want to make. The only big issue is that any paid/licensed plugins would need to be activated on both domains. Or, contact your licensed site and see if they have a way to use staging sites. After you make all you changes test them, then us Migrate Guru again to migrate the staging site to the live site.
