All of a sudden the staging website says “Page not found”. We have spent hundreds of hours of work on the staging site that we can’t lose. Here is my debug code: wpstg-S8aHTJz4-142352. Thank you for your help.

    Hi @digitallion

After reviewing your system information file, we noticed the following:

    • The live site’s ABSPATH is:

    /home/bluenote/public_html/

    • The staging site’s ABSPATH is:

    /home2/bluenote/public_html/1709157855508/

It appears that the staging site is located in a different directory than the live site. This suggests that either your hosting provider or someone on your team may have moved the live site to another directory without relocating the staging site’s folder accordingly.

I recommend reaching out to your hosting provider and asking them to check for the staging site’s folder at /home2/bluenote/public_html/1709157855508/. There’s a good chance the folder is still there. Additionally, the database tables associated with the staging site are likely still in your database, so they should be able to restore the site without much trouble.

If you need any further assistance, feel free to reach out to us via this form.

    Thanks,
    Alaa

    Hey Alaa,

Thank you. What is strange though is that the 1709157855508 is in home and home2, so I am still not sure why it is not working. I am also not sure why it is pointing to home2, when it is in home1?
