Standard Image Galleries

  • I know there are lots of nice plugins for creating galleries, but for a particular project I have and want to use the standard version build in WP 3.5.2. Simple and nice.

    Two questions though:

    – How to get rid of those awful so called social links polluting pages (they appear below the full picture view, next to image counter)?
    – How to enable original file download (when viewing the iframe full picture)?
