Standard plugin crashed my site

I activated the lite plugin which worked perfectly, then activated the standard plugin. After setting up the calendar, I entered a category and attempted to include an image. My whole site went down (blank white pages for each URL, I couldn’t access my dashboard and had to restore a backup to get my site up and running again.
