“Standard” tax rates by Country

Can you set the following:

WooCommerce >> Settings >> Tax >> Calculate tax based on >> Customer Shipping Address.
&
WooCommerce >> Settings >> General >> Default customer location >> No location by default.

Does that change anything?

That seems strange and not a default WooCommerce behavior. It is possible that another plugin or active theme is causing a conflict.

The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to temporarily switch your theme to Storefront (https://woocommerce.com/storefront/?aff=10486&cid=1131038) and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. Finally, test to see if the issue is resolved by checking the tax rates.

To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, continue to the next step – reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.

I have disabled all the plugins only active Woocommerce and Theme switch to Storefront, the problem still there, please advise.

Thank you for sending the site’s status report. I checked and I do not see anything wrong in the status report, so it is strange why the tax is shown incorrectly on your site.

One last thing we can check is the product’s data setting itself. Can you please check the data setting of your products and ensure that Tax class is set to Standard as shown here: https://d.pr/i/8erbbS

Thank you for sending that screenshot, so far everything seems correct so it is strange why the tax rates are not being calculated correctly on your site, whereas same settings on my site results in correct calculations.

At this point, I’d check if there’s any caching on server which may be causing this behaviour. Some hosts use aggressive caching which can impact how real-time data is sent to and received from the server. Please reach out to your host to ensure that there’s no caching on your server, and then check if that fixes the tax rates.
