    Hi,
    Thank you for posting here. I believe this could be a configuration problem. First,
    – What version of WP are you running?
    – What version of PHP are you running?
    – What version of the plugin are you running?

    Second, have you looked at your /wp-content/error.log file. If you have, you might try deleting it and updating the standings again, and having a look at the error.log file. If not, pls send me the answers to the above questions, before proceeding. That might save you some time.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    I am experiencing the same issue.

    WP Version: 4.8
    PHP Version: 5.6.30-1~dotdeb+7.1
    Plugin Version: 1.4

    The error log says the following:
    [19-Jun-2017 21:31:24 UTC] mstw_lm_multi_league_standings:
    [19-Jun-2017 21:31:24 UTC] Array
    (
    [league] => dames-hoog,dames-laag,heren-hoog,heren-laag,mix-hoog,mix-laag
    )

    Help would be much appreciated.

    Hi sanchii91,
    Thanks for writing and providing the info you did. That helps. It appears that you are using the multi-league standings shortcode. (??) As you can see, it’s working on this page https://dev.shoalsummitsolutions.com/multi-league-standings/.

    But the error in this thread is in the BACK end, when trying to update standings. Which, btw, has nothing at all to do with updating the games.

    So I would start by creating one brand new team and adding it to one brand new league. Then see if you can update the standings for that “mini-league”. Let me know what happens.

    Another problem that frequently occurs, is that an admin deletes a team or league, but does not empty the trash. So the team or league is still in the database and if you create a new team or league using the same name(s) (actually the same slugs/permalinks), things get buggered up. So double check, empty any trash, and don’t re-use slugs/permalinks.

    Let me know.

    (I’m not sure whether cgbooth10 figured it out, or just gave up. )

    Hi Mark,

    Thank you for your response!

    The shortcode is working correctly for me too. It is displayed properly on my website, but when I try to update the standings the values are not retrieved from the database. It is possible to then fill in all the correct scores again manually, and these changes will be properly shown on the website, but this is quite a hassle. See also https://imgur.com/a/nx6On.

    How do I empty the trash? I recall doing something like you mentioned when I was first figuring out the plugin, but seem to be overlooking where to do this.

    Again, thanks!

    I believe you, but I’m a bit stumped by this. I haven’t seen it in either of my development environments. I seem to recall solving this “problem”, but I can’t remember why it was happening. I’ll keep looking, because I’m in the process of a big upgrade, which will include the league standings being automagically updated from the games that are final.

    When you go to something like Teams, say, the Trash is right below the add new team button. There’s an All link, a Published link, and a Trash link, if there is any trash.

    Trash actually can be a bit tricky in WP. Nothing wrong with it, it can just get a bit weird if you aren’t careful.

    Wish I had a better answer, but I’m going to be in there testing, so stay tuned.
