Stange signs on certificat buton ???

    Hello,
    when a course is finished, on the button that leads to the certificate, three foreign signs appear at the beginning of the text button: ? ??
    These three signs do not appear on the “standard” page, ie when the link to the certificate is not active. Hello,

    Those three sign don’t appear il the page.

  • Hi @antoineastruc !

    Have you been editing some of the Sensei LMS Certificates files?

    If yes, it’s possible you saved the file as UTF 8 with BOM (see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byte_order_mark). Some software has this option when saving enabled by default so you need to re-save the file as UTF-8 without BOM.

    Thanks for the update. Do the symbols show up when you edit the “Course Completed” from WordPress Admin > Pages section?

    IF yes, you can edit the button’s content directly on the edit page to remove the odd symbols.

    If not, please try to completely delete and reinstall the “Sensei LMS Certificates” plugin to check and see if this fixes the issue.

    I tried to reinstall “Sensei LMS Certificates” but the problem persists.
    I removed the “View Certificate” button on the “Congratulations Page” and asked students to get their certificates from the “My Courses” page because I can’t seem to fix the issue…

    Thanks for the update. I checked the course completed page on your site, and the ? ?? symbols are not showing up there anymore.

    Hi,
    I’m sorry but the problem still exists for me…
    I tried with a Mac, a PC, on firefox, Edge, Safari and the result is the same
    I copied the screen here with the source code below.

    Like @gaurav984, I can also confirm that the symbols are not showing up on the course completed page on your site:

    Since neither of us could reproduce the issue, I suspect the issue may be limited on your setup.

    Can you try an incognito (private) browser and visit the page, and see if the issue still persists?

    Have you tried visiting the page on a different device, such as a smartphone or a different computer?
