Star Rating Glitch

A while back all of a sudden (assuming from an update) my rating stars on product reviews stopped functioning properly.

Only 2 stars can be highlighted out of 5, there is a single duplicate star, and a faint grey line in between the second and third star.

Can anyone instruct me how to fix this? Ive dug around in firebug for hours trying to tweak css but cant figure it out.
