Seems like that for some reasons the files yasr-front.js and yasr.css are not loaded at all: can you please try to disable your other plugins 1 by 1 and let me know?

Since you’re not using a child theme, you can insert it at the bottom of your functions.php file

The current rating is displayed, but the stars for actually submitting a new rating are not visible after moving the code to my new template. ??

download this file and upload it in wp-content/plugins/yet-another-stars-rating/public/ overwriting the original one and let me know?

very strange, I accidentally closed this thread and it was not easy to find it again as WordPress forums don’t seem to sort the threads correcly.

Anyhow, I’ve updated to the latest version and also tried with the file above, but both doesn’t help to display the stars again. The URL I’ve posted for you above is still up, so you can check the code openly.

Maybe I got the point.

You’re loading jquery with this line

<!-- Vendor JS Files -->
  <script src="/assets/vendor/jquery/jquery.min.js"></script>

That is no the WordPress way to include a js file.

Now you can:

add this line
wp_enqueue_script('jquery');
in your theme to include jQuery, (remember to delete the <sricpt src> or it will be included twice)

OR

download again the file, where I added the line wp_enqueue_script('jquery'); (again, remember to delete jquery from your theme)
