Start date order

  • hello, i am having a problem with my site and the plugin Event Maker.
    On this page of the events I use three columns, and for each one I use shortcode with offset command.
    The problem is that the plugin does not place more events in ascending order by the start date, but only by date of publication.
    In the control panel the value is correctly set to start date.
    I have tried to change the setting and save it with the date of publication, and then restore it to its previous state, but the value is never updated, it remains blocked on opening date (correctly) as if it were blocked.
    What should I do?

  • Ah so that explains why my event list is NOT in date order! Nearly three weeks and no answer to this issue. Too bad, I cannot use it like this.

    Ok, thats strange.
    What if you try to manually set orderby parameter: orderby=”start” ?

    Hi,
    I do not know, to quickly resolve the problem while waiting for your answer I manually changed the date of publication.
    In query settings, will not let me change the sort setting, when I go to save, it always comes back to the default start event date.
    You say that by entering this code in the shortcode it will work?

    Then your problem is different.
    You have some kind of admin issue, probably caused by a different plugin or your theme that doesn’t let you save EM options.
    This should never happen and is not related to our plugin. If you fix that, set and save the ordering option you will not need a shortcode parameter.

    no. it’s other plugin or your theme issue. something is preventing from saving options.
