Start monthly archive on 1st of month

Hi is there a way to make the monthly archive start on the first day of the month instead of the last post? I’m modifiying the template for a webcomic, and i would like to start at the begining of the month when showing a monthly archive, instead of starting on the most recent post. Thanks!
