Start Scan issue!

hello,
when i press the scan now button a new window appears that asks me for a scan name, and i also have to choose between auto scan and manual scan. The problem is that this window appears for only a few seconds and then disappears again.
It is just like the button triggers the lightbox but also the page reloads and as a results when loading finishes, the lightbox is disappeared.
Any ideas?
