Started to make site slow and stopped account profile changes.

Site became really slow and I was unable to edit account profiles, getting “Invalid user ID.” when submitting the form. The auto update features for wordpress or plugins was also not executing. I disabled all plugins then turned them back on on one by one until WordPress HTTPS became the culprit. Now using CCS-HTTPS plugin.
