    I have installed the Portfolio plugin but need some help getting started with populating it with images. Thanks.

    Hi,

    I’ve installed the plugin, following the instructions. However, I don’t know what I need to do to add images to the gallery. Do I create a new post? Do I simply insert the images into the page? I need the instructions to populate the gallery with images.

    Dear hilaryalex,

    In order to add a gallery to the page or post, it is first necessary to create it in the admin page.
    For that, please, press the add video/add image button: https://prntscr.com/he3znz > choose files for uploading to a media library: https://prntscr.com/he403k > add them to the gallery (multiple images can be selected at once by pressing Ctrl)

    After adding images or videos to the post, please, copy the shortcode of the current gallery: https://prntscr.com/he41hk and paste it into the page or post.

    Finally, just publish the page/post with a gallery in it on your website.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. I followed the steps. However, when I’ve uploaded the images and I click the Add Portfolio Gallery button, all I get on the page is a line of code that reads: [huge_it_portfolio id=”1″]. I don’t see the page that contains the shortcode to copy.

    Please advise.

    This issue may be related to the theme you are currently using.
    We hope you are not against to change your current theme to one of WordPress default themes to check if the issue exists in that case as well or not.

    If you get the same result when using the plugin on the default theme, please, provide the link to the page where the issue could be checked at our end.
