Starting session with wrong user

    Hi there.

    This plugin it’s awesome but from a few weeks ago it started to have a serious bug.

    I start a session with my gmail account and after the redirect it starts the session on my website with another account.

    That account doesn’t have the same e-mail configured. Checked in the DB also.

    Tried in private mode to avoid cookies and checked and unchecked the “Allow sign in based on verifiedEmail match”. Every time the same problem.

    Tried with another gmail address and it works well, but with this one it starts sessions with another user (that it’s not admin and I am).

    Can anyone help me out here? Thanks in advance.

  • The Google account got linked to the other user and there is no “remove” feature for this yet. It will be in the next version. The most likely cause was using the sidebar widget while signed in to that user. This links the account regardless of email address.

    For now you would need to remove the rpx% usermeta data for that user to break the link. Next version is scheduled for this week.
