• Hi there,
possible to switch the hero at the startpage to a normal ‘article’ picture in the header – standard behaviour of an arcticle page? So i try to use a normal page as homepage without switching to a homepage with hero.
    thank you in advance,
    regards,
    rainer

  • Hi, @raineru

You can create your page and assign it as a static front page in Settings -> Reading. This is possible only with pages, not with posts (since you mentioned “an article page”).

    Hi @inamoro,
that was my first idea weeks ago.
At the moment that i define a page (with a article picture as header image) as static front page the current header image is not longe visible and the system switched to the hero. Content and title is the correct one, only header/hero switch happens.
    Any idea?

@raineru try setting the page template to the default template: https://prnt.sc/6E617MmfXY2S

Hi, thank you. No change. Using Page as normal Contentpage–> Header image is visible (DIv class=”single-featured-image-header” is in the code)
Setting the same page as static frontpage, <div class=”single-featured-image-header” is not found.
Is it necessary to set up an area in the header with an new header image?

@raineru contact us via our website and we’ll try to help. I’ll eventually post the solution here afterward.
