Static column

    This might be a dumb question, but how do you make it so that your first column in a table doesn’t sort? I want the first column to show the rank, i.e.

    1
    2
    3
    4
    5

    But I don’t want that one column to move when people sort the other columns in the table. How do I make it static? Is that possible?
