Static Front Page

  • I know how to set a static front page and I have read the documentation of how it has “changed” in 2.5 but I still can’t get it right.

    The blog part is still the home page and I have 5 other pages. I would like the CV page to be the static front page. When I set it as the front page I cannot see how to access the blog section. Because when I set it that way it opens to the CV page and the blog page in the menu, formerly home page, also displays the CV. I guess that is because that was the old home page and it too shows the CV which is now the new home page.

    I guess I could also set up owenpeery.com to redirect to my CV page so that when people first come that is what they see and then they can navigate elsewhere. I would prefer to learn how the static front page works now though.

    How do I access the blog page once the front page is set as a static page?
