Static front page?

  • I’m just getting started. Setting up my front page and it seems like I have to use the posts page as my front page, but I want a static front page. Am I missing something?

    Also, where can I find instructions for using the library to clip items?

    If you want to display a static page as a front page, follow these steps:

    1. Go to Dashboard -> Settings -> Reading
    2. Set your “Front page displays” to “A static page (select below)”
    3. Select the page from the drop-down (the page which you want to show as front page)
    4. Click on “Save Changes”

    Can you please elaborate the library to clip items?
