Static Front Page and sidebar

  • I wanted to be able to make the front page of a site static and not have additional posts show there. However, when I make a static page and select to make it the home page, it doesn’t have all of the sideboxes in the sidebar as the front page normally does.

  • That’s a theme specific question – so nobody will able to answer it… unless you give more info. Or, simply, pick another theme that has sidebar on Pages, too.

    I’m having the same problem. I chose to have a Static Page as the Front page and by doing that the META TAGS with the Login option on the sidebar is not showing up on the front page anymore.
    Is there a way to insert the META TAGS on the sidebar of a static page?
