Static Front Page vs Bootstrap 3
-
I’m currently using the following 3 WordPress components:
1. WordPress 3.8 RC-1
2. Ward Pro theme (Bootstrap 3, not 2)
3. A Static Front Page with 3 Columns.Since the last Automatic Update from WordPress, I have lost the standard 15 px padding on the left edge of my screen. At first I thought it could be the coding of that individual page. It is not.
No matter what individual page I choose for the Static Front Page, the left padding disappears. Doesn’t matter if I use the theme’s Customiser or the Readings Settings in the Admin Panel.
I think the problem is in the Core, not the theme. I worked fine about 2-3 days ago. Here’s a link to an article on how the grid works in Bootstrap 3: https://www.helloerik.com/the-subtle-magic-behind-why-the-bootstrap-3-grid-works. Maybe the Core Developers could adjust the Reading (or Customiser) Settings so that the 15px padding shows up again in Static Front Pages.
