Static Front Page Will Not Load

    Help! Our site has been functioning for a couple of years, but yesterday I noticed (after being out of town for 2 weeks) that the front page will not load from our URL or link in menu – sub domains load correctly and front page will load from Dashboard>Pages>Preview.

    I’ve changed from static page to recent blogs – and that works, but still no luck when I change front page back to our static page (or any other page I assign to this).

    I’ve disabled all plugins – still not luck. I’ve switched to a couple of different themes (including twenty sixteen) – still no luck.

    Any ideas??

    Have you tried resetting your permalinks?
    I notice that when changing to different areas of the websie the permlinks do not seem to change.

    Double check your permalinks as per @contentiskey’s suggestion.

    You might also want to contact your host / ensure that all is well in your .htaccess.
