Static homepage disappears when Polylang is activated

I’m using the Astra theme and had set up a static page as my home page. However, I encountered a problem where the static page disappeared, and I could only see blog posts instead. I double-checked the Reading settings, which correctly specified the home page as “home” and the posts page as “blog”. To troubleshoot, I deactivated all my plugins and found that the issue was caused by the Polylang plugin. It used to function properly, but for some unknown reason (maybe because Astra was updated? Not sure), it has stopped working. I’m unsure what might have caused this. Do you have any ideas or suggestions to help resolve the problem?
