static homepage issues (coding)

  • Hello- first time here and you’ll see why. I made a cover page.php template to make my wp more like a site. I am new to this and right now just want to modify my pages to include area for content. Cover page was working fine with featured content, but now is not. I want the page to include FCG and have room for form and custom sidebar. I am under pressure to have this done NOW, and am going in circles. Help! I have uploaded both cover and page.php to Pastebin under fab2clv. wptheme1 and wptheme2
    Anyone can help? Thanks

  • Can’t access your stuff on Pastebin for some reason, but I doubt it would help much.

    What theme are you using, and what’s the URL of your site? It’s much easier to see what’s going on if we have that info.

    On the general matter, the content of a page is displayed using the_content() within the WordPress loop.
