Static homepage with blog

  • Hi

    my site has a static homepage but I would like to also add a blog to the website with latest posts, but not on the homepage. Is this possible.

    Title the second page “Blog” (or you could call it “News”, “Articles”, etc.). This page will be a place-holder for showing the Posts on your site.

    do you think adding a page named “blog” then directing my post page to my newly set up “blog” page would be easy through the reading settings?

    ‘easy’ depends on the circumstances…

    have you tried to create a new page with the name ‘blog’ (you can leave the content empty) and to set that page as the posts page as described in the linked codex chapter?
