static page

    In which folder I should put a static web page, and by which URL I can access that page.

    I tried putting page name

    map.html

    in wp-content/themes.
    I tried accessing it using URL

    localhost/wordpress/map.html

    but this was not working.
    I would appreciate any help.

    If it’s in the theme directory then you need to access that theme URI, e.g.:

    localhost/wordpress/wp-content/themes/map.html
