Static page

  • I am just starting out with WordPress and learning as I go. I’m a newbie in webdesign and want to use WordPress to create a website. I followed the Codex documentation and created a static front page and also have blog pages. I cannot get rid of the reply section at the bottom of the font page. Is there a way to do this through the dashboard or do I have to go into the code and change one of the files (and if so which one)?

  • In Admin section, select Pages. Find your static front page and select Quick Edit. Make sure the Allow Comments box is not ticked.
