Static Page and Widgets

  • I installed WP2.2 this morning and want to use it to manage a site as opposed to a blog. I have spent the day reading the documentation and searching this forum and haven’t been able to find an answer to my question.

    My template is a 3 column with widget support. If I build my site using static pages, and say I update my Links section in the 3rd column, will that update be made on all of my pages or will I have to update them individually? Yes, I am new to WordPress:))

  • Are you altering this using the widgets admin panel? If so, wherever that sidebar is called for, the changes will show up.
