Static page as front page but something goes wrong

  • I set a Static page as front page for my blog long time ago but last summer after a bad use of Wp_query i need to reinstalled my whole site.

    I choose one of my page as Front page and ‘blog’ as Posts page but when i select the blog page from my page menu bar it seems as the blog page was it self the ‘Home page’.

    Clicking the ‘blog’ buttoms from page menù bar the ‘home page buttoms’ becames active both and the blog page displays the whole last 10 articles wrote not only the excerpts as all the other pages of blog archive exept the first…
