• My current website (non-WP) is this: https://atthetabernacle.com/home/

As a WP learning exercise, I’m recreating it as precisely as possible. I have the main header and footer and I’m working on the content. (https://atthetabernacle.com/wp/)

The site may not have a regular blog page, but I’ll be creating a Custom Post Type called “concert.” When there are no concerts planned, we show the “check back” image — currently Santa Claus having a coke. When we have concerts, I’ll want my formatted list of concerts on the right, where the big image is now.

I think I need to make the static text on the left (what LOOKS like a left side-bar to me) be the content of my page, and put the sidebar (with list of concert-posts) on the right.

Am I on the right track? I’m sure there are many ways to get it done, but what is the/a “right way” to do it?
