Static Page – Frontpage

    Hello José,
    I already defined a static front page (Settings > Reading ->Front page) but doesn’t work. In the homepage of my site just appears the slide and not the static page.
    Could you help me?

    What exactly do you want to be shown in your homepage?

    If you set a front-page to your website, it will automatically use the front-page template of the theme, which is composed with a slide, a widget section and a last entries section.

    I want the content of a static page and not the last entries section.

    The last entries section can be removed on the theme option page (appearance > theme options – front-page tab).

    The contents you wrote on the page you set as front page won’t be shown on the front page. But you can use the widget section and add a text widget(or anything else) if you want to add some text there.

    Hello Jose, I’m trying to configure the amount of entries at the “last entries” section at the static front page.

    It shows me 6 entries and its not looking rigth.

    I found the theme very nice, thank you.
