Static Page – Landing Page Problem – It disappears

Hello,
i want a static page “home” and I create a page go to settings and change it there, that “home” should be shown as static page and it works. But my problem is: the Picture with the text above (landing page?) disappears but I want it like a slider..How can I solve this?
