static pages

  • I am wondering if I should just use the theme I chose as part of my overall blog layout and then just create other static pages with this as the model. But I really am having trouble understanding how to work with wordpress, how to change things on this blog template, and the directions on creating static pages like “about” and stuff like that are really confusing to me. I know CSS/HTML on a workable level, but I am getting really stuck because the way the directions are laid out on WordPress are really, really confusing.

    You go admin > Write > Write Page and you write a (quasi) static Page. Read about Pages.
    Which part you don’t understand about this?

    As for editing/re-designing a theme… that’s a totally different issue. Ask concrete questions.
