• I have set static home and post pages in dashboard > settings > reading

Whilst it’s worked brilliantly for the homepage I’m having trouble with the permalinks for the posts. I have three posts up and they all have the permalink:

    https://www.alicebrockway.co.uk/http:/www.alicebrockway.co.uk/name

This means that I can’t share the posts without sharing the whole page which is really awkward.

I have set a “pretty” permalink structure in dashboard > settings > permalinks > custom structure:

    http:/www.alicebrockway.co.uk/name

This is working for all pages but not the posts. I don’t know if it’s messing up the post permalinks.

I’ve searched the help pages and haven’t found anything that seems to help with this (although I am very new and may be missing something). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That’s it! Brilliant. I just had /name I’ve now changed it to /%pagename%/%postname%/ and it’s working.

Now i use wordpress 3.2.1 and I’ve try to update the Permalink.
It work only “Default” I can’t use any custom permalink, because It’ll display error 404. How to solve this?? Please help…
