Congratulations Scott and thank you. I love Simply Static.

I only use it on one site but recently I have lots of trouble replacing the existing site version with the newly generated version. What I mean is that there is an existing static site live at the destination address but when I generate a new version — the regeneration seems to run fine but the live site does not change.

I don’t use the zip version because the straight-to-final-url used to work fine and fast.

    Export Log

    1xx Informational: 0 | 2xx Success: 154 | 3xx Redirection: 1 | 4xx Client Error: 6 | 5xx Server Error: 0 | 162 URLs

I can’t see the 6 Client Errors, could they be my problem?

I’ve tried different browsers and deleted cookies back until the start of time but I can’t get the static site to change. Then after much repeat action and changing (pointlessly)

My settings are Absolute URLs – domain.com; delivery method – Local Directory; Local Directory – …/public_html/domain.com

    What am I missing?

Hey, I think I might have found it. I looked more closely at the instructions for Local Directory and removed the .com – the sitatic site regenerated OK.

I think I am OK now unless you can see something else.
