Static Slider: can’t change vertical positioning of text
-
In the past I could change the vertical position of the text in the front page static slider easily in the visual editor, but now I can’t.
When I toggle the “Content Box Vertical Position” slider in Front Page > Slider, nothing happens. As you can see from the following screenshots, the buttons and content in the slider seem quite low – I’d like them to be closer to the vertical centre of the background image. The second image is better but that’s just because of the screen optimization. I’d like to be able to mess around with it so that it looks good on ALL screens.

I’d also like the space to the left of the content to be smaller. It’s not too bad on a wider screen but looks pretty bad on a narrower screen. If that’s something that can be changed easily through adding some css, please let me know what to try!
Here are some images of the plugins I currently have activated since I’ve observed that this is often the cause of issues for others with slider content.
