Statistics for specific pool players

    Hi Antoinne, just a short question.

    This WK2018 I offer people to create there own friends pool on the site.

    Regarding the statistics; I would like that players from a specific pool only could select there own pool players to compare there results in the statistics.

    Is there some code available which already exist? If not can you advice me?

    I am not a programmer only thinker and can do some adjustments here and there ??

    Hi Gerrit,

    You’re not the first to come up with this idea. I see that I created a comment in my code as a reminder to maybe change this at some point in the future:
    //@todo: maybe change this later to the user's league

    But that doesn’t help you right now ??

    Fortunately, the user selector contains a filter that a developer can hook into, so I took the liberty to create something for you. Maybe it will benefit some other users as well. It’s a really simple plugin that filters the user list and you can activate it in WP: football-pool-user-selector-own-league-only.php

    Please note that with current code a visitor that is not logged in, can still access the full user list in the statistics. Only for logged in users the user set is filtered.

    disclaimer: please note that I didn’t test thoroughly, so there might be some bugs ??

    Thanks Antoine,

    I am happy that you took the liberty to create this one.

    It’s no problem that a visitor who is not logged-in see the full user list within the statistics selector. It make the statistics more flexible.

    Players who are involved will be logged in to compare with there league players.

    Thanks again, so far as I can see, its works perfect.
