Statistic view does not respond to selected dates. The view always starts at jan 2000.

See here for a screenshot: https://ibb.co/cbRBZKy

Running WordPress 6.3.2, Koko 1.2.2. PHP 8.2 on Nginx.

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Can you please check your browser console and share with us if you see any errors there?

I checked using Safari 17.0 and Google Chrome 118. Both browsers show no JavaScript errors when viewing the Koko analytics screen. Also no warnings. Only the following two info items:

JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 3.4.1
    localize.js?ver=6.3.2:2 Post SMTP localize loaded.

Also no errors in the server logs. The access log shows the following:

    [ip blocked] – – [30/Oct/2023:07:52:03 +0000] “GET /wp-json/koko-analytics/v1/referrers?start_date=2023-10-30&end_date=2023-11-05&offset=0&limit=20 HTTP/2.0” 200 280 “https://[domain]/wp-admin/index.php?page=koko-analytics” “Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/17.0 Safari/605.1.15”

I think the erroneous view arose after I accidentally removed all wordpress files from my server (but I kept the database intact). Then I reinstalled WordPress, followed by installing all plugins using UpdraftPlus Restore.

Maybe the files and the database version are out of sync. You can delete the Koko plugin and then install it again, and also clear your browser cache. Does that solve the issue?

I removed & reinstalled the koko plugin, but the same error is there.

I checked the wp_koko_analytics_dates table in mysql and found the dates are starting at 2000-01-01. I removed all date entries from before today and now the koko analytics view screen shows the correct range.

    Hey @poorthuisp,

Thanks for the update. I’m glad this is fixed. We have not come across this issue and based on the date you had, could be some temporary issue with server date/time.
