    Hi all,

So I had a little blog I’ve been using for years: https://www.maviemagique.com, and recently I changed the domain name for https://www.sophiebarbarella.com, and discovered that I had lost my stats (back to zero while I was at 289000 something before) and also my subscribers (not a lot at that time, but still).

I’ve seen this topic in the forum already, seems like it’s a blog ID issue, and your stats do not automatically merge when changing a domain name. But the answers were a bit different about the same subject.

Can you help? I didn’t migrate the website, did not change anything else than the domain name.

  • Hi @sophilosophy,

Thanks for contacting us! As requested I have moved the Jetpack Stats and Subscribers from https://www.maviemagique.com/ -> to -> https://www.sophiebarbarella.com/

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello Gaurav, thanks so much for taking the time to answer me.

Unfortunately I haven’t seen any change in my stats infos, whether on my admin Jetpack Dashboard or on wordpress.com. And when I install the Jetpack Stats on my front page I still only get the visits I got after changing my domain name. My last screenshot from Dec. 4th, 2023 gave me 289,050 readers with this same stats plugin.

    Have I missed something?

    Hi there,

Sorry about that! It looks like the stats merge we did before didn’t “stick.”

I’ve just tried again; can you check and make sure things look right?

    Hello @sophilosophy,

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

    Hello everyone!

Thanks to all of you !!! Things changed this Monday and I got my former stats back!!! Really happy since it helps to see what’s been working before and after my domain name change.

So you can close the thread. Big ups to the team for solving this issue!
