Stats API is getting called even when disabling Jetpack Stats Module

Hello @manojmohandev – could you please share the exact URL for which you see those API requests in the Browsers’ Network area.

I see the stats module is deactivated on your site, so if you try to visit the Stats section in WP Admin while having the Stats module deactivated then you will see Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page error message ? Screenshot.

And if you go to the Jetpack ? Dashboard section and then check the Browsers’ Network area, then you should not notice any Stats API requests. I don’t see anything in my testing ? check here.

Thanks for the response.

I was talking about the admin dashboard page (/wp-admin/). Check this image. You can see I have disabled the Jetpack Stats option, and then also request to the API is made. If I have disabled the Stats module, it should not send request to Stats API.
