    Hi there,

So we just noticed that the list of e-mails that have gone out say the e-mail was sent to 126 users when we only have 45 users & 9 pending.

Also, in the user stats area it says zero e-mails were sent to people.

If you can let us know.

    Thanks

    Hi ep2012,

Thanks for posting. Is this specific to a single email template that you created, or is it something that happens for all of your emails?

    Hi there,

We are talking about the e-mail summary on the dashboard. It says it was sent 180 times each when I only have 57 users total. And that was for each e-mail & there’s 4 in total.

    Thanks

    Hi ep2012,

Thanks for clarifying. It appears as though the total messages sent for all emails is being displayed. We’re going to release an update shortly that should correctly display only the number sent for each email instead of the total.

Thanks for letting us know about the issue!

    Hi there,

    Sure, not a problem.

Ok, so we just realized when going to look at the stats which still aren’t correct, that the 2nd reminder e-mail that I scheduled for a few days later never went out.

It says 0 e-mails were sent & we looked & sure enough, that didn’t get sent out.

And I told people they got 3 reminders.

We also don’t see where the scheduled e-mails are located. Where do we see where e-mails are scheduled? Where’s the log?

Where can we change the date it gets sent out if it hasn’t already been sent?

    Hi ep,

There is currently nowhere in the plugin admin to view scheduled emails. They are stored in your WP database, in the wp_options table, in the option called EWD_UWPM_Scheduled_Emails, so can be viewed there, if you wish.

At the moment, the only way to change the date would be to manually edit the array in the EWD_UWPM_Scheduled_Emails option in the database.

We hope to be able to add these abilities directly in the admin in a future update.

    Hi Jay,

Ok, but what about the scheduled e-mail that never went out?

    You didn’t address that.

Sorry for not addressing that. Just to be clear, is this an email that you sent from the Emails tab in the plugin admin (i.e. opened an email template and chose Send Later from the dropdown), or is this something that should have been sent via a trigger/send event?

It’s either that it’s not sending at all or that it isn’t being received. To check the former, install a plugin like https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/email-log/, then schedule an email and, after it is supposed to have been sent, check the log plugin and see if it was sent out. If so, you know the problem is just that it isn’t being received (e.g. because it’s being blocked/marked as spam/etc.). For that, we’d recommend using a plugin like WP Mail SMTP to route the automatic emails via your real email address, so they are far less likely to be flagged as automated/spam.

    Hi Jay,

So we did a test where I sent it to one person (not the whole user list like before) right away.

Then after that was sent & he got it, I changed the calendar to send that same test e-mail the next day. I don’t remember if I clicked on the little blue save button, but the first time I did click on it.

Well, he got 2 of the same e-mails right away, nothing the following day, & when I just went to look, neither test e-mail was in the e-mails section, although there was a test draft there.

I just edited that draft, there was nothing in the body which makes no sense, since both of the others had the word test in the body, & I used it to schedule another e-mail for an hour from now & that e-mail showed up under “e-mails,” so there’s something wrong.

Also, the calendar was showing my date, but when I saw that test e-mail under the e-mails section, it showed a date/time of 2 hours earlier.

    Thanks

P.S. and he just got the scheduled e-mail a minute after I scheduled it, so your calendar isn’t working.

Just checking back in. It does indeed look like there is an issue with scheduled emails not sending at the correct time. We’re currently running tests to try and find the source of the issue and, if necessary, will release an update with any required corrections. In the meantime, I’ll let you know if we have any further questions regarding your setup or the exact issue you’re facing. Thanks!

    Ok thanks.

Any idea when you will be fixing it?

I can’t give an exact timeline, unfortunately. As soon as we have it resolved and fully tested, it will be released. That should hopefully be this week, but I can’t guarantee it.

We’ve just released an update that includes the fix for the scheduled emails. Emails that are scheduled using the Send Later option will now send at the scheduled time.
