• I am logged in, I am the only user. So why is my top referrer the WP dashboard? I want to figure out how to eliminate my own visits from the stats. I view the site in a separate window sometimes, and other time I click view post right from the dashboard. Which way is causing me to track myself?

Have you unchecked “Count the page views of registered users who are logged in” at Plugins -> WordPress.com Stats in your Dashboard?

I do believe I did, but where do I go to double check that setting? I cannot find it.

Click “Plugins” to the left in your Dashboard. Under that (also to the left), you’ll see a few options. Select “WordPress.com Stats” and make sure that “Count the page views of registered users who are logged in” is unchecked.

There is nothing like that. The only options given are EDIT which takes you to the html editor, or VISIT PLUGIN SITE. This is the wordpress.com stats plugin that I am using on my www.ads-software.com site. Thank you!

That’s on the Plugins page, I mean in the drop-down under “Plugins” to the left in the Dashboard sidebar.

Yes it is! Thanks. I was set up correctly. Still can’t figure why I was getting referrals from my admin page. But I appreciate your help very much. Thank you!
