I started rebuilding my affiliate WordPress Blogs again after years of neglect and from day one I have experienced a strange problem.
Hope to heck I’m not off base by asking here but am out of options!
I have 12 websites that I promote eight affiliates on. Only real difference in the sites is the domain names and all use the same themes and plugins.
The problem is with the reported stats on the affiliate pages and it is the same problem with each and every affiliate I promote.
I see 3-4 days of hundreds of stats, clicks and then 3-4 days of 0 to maybe 5-20 stats, clicks on the affiliate page of every affiliate I promote. It is the same with every affiliate I promote and the same occurrences happen on the same days at every one of them.
It has been going on ever since I started promoting seriously again which has been for the last three months and is driving me crazy. ??
    Thank you,
    Kenneth Adair

I’ve searched for days for the correct place to post this request and am sure this isn’t it but if one of you people who are a lot smarter than I could transfer it to that place or let me know the proper place I will appreciate it.

@adairk It sounds like a caching issue. Clear your caches, please and see if it helps.

    Thanks Caseproof,
    But I clear cache regularly!
I just noticed a few hours ago though after all this time that on my affiliate stats pages that I am getting multiple (100’s) of hits from the same IP’s.
I did a little research and found that I can block IP’s using the cPanel “IP BLOCKER”.
I added the most multiple click IP’s to that list and need to give it some time to see if it works. I looked a few minutes ago and am still seeing those IP’s but maybe needs more time. I’ll have another look tomorrow.
    Thank you for replying here,
    Ken
