I have recently re-installed Analytify and it’s full of errors.

The stats on individual pages are completely out of whack – they start from 2016 or 2018 (??) showing the completely wrong data with sessions and page views with ZERO visitors. For example, on the Testimonials page they show:

    from May 29, 2016 to Jul 7, 2021
    Sessions 131
    Visitors- 0
    Page views – 647

    ?????

I can assure you that I have had many more sessions AND visitors over the past 5 years on this page.

it’s only when I change the date settings to more recent, they seem to show more reasonable stats (still don’t know if true.

Please advise the cause of such a huge error and how can I fix it. so that I can see the stats without resetting the calendar every time on every page.

If I need to go to Google Analytics for the correct stats, I don’t need your plugin at all.

    thanks

  • Hi @magicpowers

Sorry for this inconvenience at your side.

Can you please confirm if Analytify was installed and tracking code was enabled on your site in the whole duration of which you are trying to fetch stats?

If Analytify was not installed or tracking code was not enabled during the duration then there are high chances the data was not tracked properly and therefore it’s not showing up correctly.

The only stats you are able to see correctly are since when you activated Analytify again.

    hi @artisticasad

this should not make any difference, if your plugin – just like all analytics plugins – draws the data from Google Analytics.

If I install any analytics plugin and connect with my Google account – it populates the data going back to when I first set up my Google account. The data from Google never goes away – you can plug in into it and unplug at any time, and every time you will draw the same data.

so – there is a bug in your plugin.

We can diagnose the issue for you on your website but it requires some additional information.

Can you please contact us at https://analytify.io/support/ with your site’s diagnostic information from the Analytify settings help tab: https://d.pr/i/RbUqck

    Looking forward!
