would it be possible to add a stats icon in a column of the table of posts for individual visualization of the statistics? In jetpack this is only possible for the global user, authors and editors cannot see individually. See image link for more details.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    Hi there!

That icon is added by Jetpack itself, and will appear to all users that can access stats on your site. If you’d like authors and editors to be able to see stats on your site, you can go to Jetpack > Settings > Traffic > Stats and check the boxes to give them access. Once you’ve saved your changes, they’ll start seeing the icons in the Posts list screen.

    I hope this helps.

Hi Jeremy Herve, thanks for getting back to me. I sent a message to jetpack support itself with this exact question and they replied that this icon only appears (currently) for the global user. I did this whole procedure by accessing Jetpack > Settings > Traffic > Statistics and even so the icon is not enabled in the posts table for secondary admins, or authors and editors. Access to statistics is only through the sidebar and in general. See an example in the image below with a wp editor user and jatpack statistics settings enabled for it:

They’ll need to connect their WordPress.com account first. If they go to the Jetpack menu in their dashboard, they’ll see the following banner:

If they click on that button and connect their account to their own WordPress.com account, they will then see the icon in the Posts list.

Thanks again for your attention Jeremy Herve! I would like to make a suggestion for the “Post Views for Jetpack” app: the procedure of logging into the wordpress.com account generates more support demand for the users of my site. It would be interesting for this icon to be available only by enabling statistics for editors or authors users. I did a test by taking the url generated by the icon in the panel with global admin and pasted it in the panel as secondary admin and I had access to individual statistics without logging into wordpress.com, I don’t know how it would be in your app, but maybe it wouldn’t be so difficult anymore that the url path works. See the test in the image below:

This is a change that would need to be made in the Jetpack plugin itself; that stats icon is added by the Jetpack plugin, not by the Posts Views for Jetpack plugin.

I’ve suggested the change for the Jetpack plugin here. Once that change is accepted, it will be added in the next release of the Jetpack plugin.

    Thanks for the feedback!
