Stats Image in Status bar Not Showing Sparkline

I’ve spent about an hour and half reviewing everything I can find on the web on this issue as well as reading all the messages I could find here in the forums and tried all the suggestions that others have tried to fix this issue.

I have 3 WordPress sites across 3 different servers and it’s only o one server the sparkline image is not working. As I just mentioned above I spent an hour and half reading and trying to fix this issue myself so you can be assured that I have tried disabling all plugins, clearing my cache, running current versions of software.

The stats link itself up in the wp status bar shows a broken image but the functionality of stats when i click on it works. It’s just the sparkline image which is not showing and in it’s place is the broken image icon.

I tried comparing it with other sites and deconstructing the url, breaking it down to OS, locating the actual .php file (stats.php), and then trying to load the sparkline image, but all it shows is a little square. On my other wordpress instances the same process shows the sparkline image properly.

I never post on these forums without first spending extensive time trying to fix the issue myself as I usually find the answer to issues in the forums but this one is driving me nuts because I can’t fix it.

I can live without it because if i click the stats link which is next to the broken image icon it takes me to the stats page which is fine. in a month or two i’ll be moving that site to another server and the issue will probably go away as it works on the server i plan on moving it to, but dag gummit, it sure would be nice if it worked on this server. i thought i localized it the .svg image but i’m just not sure.
