Stats Not Working, and exhausted all options

    I did: Everything correctly

    I saw:No stats information.

    I expected: To see traffic info

    Above quote was from the support token, but it failed to send my message.

    I used to have a free wordpress.com blog which I have now successfully imported to my self hosted www.ads-software.com blog, but Im having a real hard time in getting the stats to work, and was hoping that you/someone could help?

    As said I have done everything correctly, installed the wordpress stats plugin, entered my api key, and was prompted all was activated, and working correctly, however, its not.

    No stats are showing in either my global dashboard, or my NokiaDNA.com dashboard.

    Is there something you need to do in order to activate this? I see hundreds of other people experiencing very similar problems to my own, but no solutions.

    I have already checked my footer, and the correct line in there in place.

    Hello,

    I had the very same problem today and it proved to be quite an headache to find a solution.

    I don’t know if it works for you, but recheck your theme’s footer/body php file for double calls of the “<?php wp_footer();?>” function.

    At first, I thought my theme didn’t have that call and I manually pasted it to the correct place, but the statistics were still broke. So, I then rechecked the code to find out my theme had the call already pre-placed, but to the wrong spot, so I had two instances of it. Removing the call from the wrong place fixed it for me.
