stats plugin help

  • Hi there! I am so new to this project that I need help in this certain plugin.

    I understand that Automatic stats does require API code from wordpress.com. I do have a wordpress.com account but when I put in my API code to activate the plugin, I get this following error:

    Error from last API Key attempt:

    Bad site URL (hostname invalid or unsupported)

    Is there a way to help solve this?

  • Just a guess — but if you look at the url of your wordpress blog you will notice it’s no longer there.

    Assuming thats the url you use to get the API key that might be the reason why.
